DR: Esme Highgate

Despite wishing to spend more time with her mother, Theo is a doting father who tries to cater to all his daughter's needs. As a prestigious pastry chef, he and his daughter lived in comfortable surroundings. Even if he was busy in the shop most days. Esme often doesn't realise the privileged life she's been brought up in isn't available for everyone, and is sometimes shocked to find out about how other demigods have had to live.

You wanna Piece of Me- Esme can draw peoples eyes to her from a field away, encourage people to try to attract her attention in return, and (if they COULD or ARE attracted to women in any fashion) she will smell like that person's most favorite smell in the world. She is able to control all of these individually.

Karma Chameleon- Esme is able to change her eye colour, hair colour, style and length, skin tone, physical attributes (within physiciological boundries) at will. She can hold multiple alterations for an indefinite period of time.

Slave 4 U- She can make an organism (monster, animal, demi or human) fall deeply in love with her when touching them. Esme becomes the focus of their world for the duration of the contact.

Blessing 1: Her charm bracelet allows her to take on different forms as disguises, each with different results. Max time in disguise 1 week

Blessing 2: Her silk hankerchief Serikos can remove any defect upon the skin: Scars, warts, bags under the eyes etc. Max number of uses in a day is 80.

Blessing 3: Her necklace gives her the power of charmspeak over other humans- It can be used for up to five hours before it must be recharged, where it must not be used for half a day.

Passionate- Esme is foremost, a highly opinionated and sparky young lady who, when she’s interested in something, throws her all into it. Be it man-chasing, protecting her siblings or even a big shopping trip, she’ll put everything she’s got into getting a good experience out of it.
Fun-Loving- She doesn’t mind being serious, and when the occasion calls for it she can be exceptionally so, but Esme’s main goal in life is to enjoy herself, in lots of ways. She’s not massively insecure because that’d take the fun out of life, and who’d want that?
Thick Skinned- Being a counsellor means taking criticism, as well as dealing with tough issues. Concerning herself, very little that’s said can phase her. She’s happy with who she is, and what she likes. She doesn’t try to deceive anyone about her personality and tastes, and if people don’t like it and choose not to associate with her because of it, that’s a shame for them. But, insult her siblings or her friends, and she will reign hell upon you and Charmspeak you mercilessly.

Pride and Vanity- Esme is often concerned about Esme. Chipping nails, mussed up hair, damage to skin are all hazards that she'd rather desperately avoid. If she's involved with an activity that risks such things, Esme won't give her all in order to protect her appearance.

Theo had moved shortly before his encounter with Aphrodite, from France, to attempt to bring a pastry chef culture to America. Being fairly successful, he was able to provide his Demigod daughter with a rather comfortable lifestyle. His thick French accent and desire not to be labelled as a 'crazy' and ruin his business meant Esme did not know of her mother until fairly recently.

Her lack of interest in education, her preference for the finer arts and sports contributed to her being an enthusiastic gymnastic club member, until it began to interfere with her developing social life.

It was when she finally threatened to leave her father at the age of 17 to find her mother that the truth came out. She didn't believe him- She called him crazy and locked herself in her room. It was not long after this that an invitation to the camp was extended to her by the satyr, Twitch. She initially went to prove her dad was in fact crazy, and then stayed. Eventually, she became the counselor for the Aphrodite cabin, and has taken on the responsibility with relish, happy to meet all these new siblings and find ways to care about things other than Esme.

-Took up bellydancing with some friends as a form of keeping fit, and stuck with it. As a result, she can shake it like Shakira and is flexible like whoah to boot.
-Delights in trying out new hairstyles of an evening.
-Wears hotpants under that dress when training and going on excursions, to avoid slip-ups and embarrassments.
-Has a cat, named Priya ([link]) who is exceptionally...special.
-Rarely ever uses her weapon. In fact, she's a rather useless fighter who has trained her skills in more sneaky methods of attack.
-Loves a good gossip. There's a reason the Aphrodite cabin is the origin of most rumours. She loves to discuss and speculate with anyone who comes a'knocking.
